To effectively address parking challenges for hospital residents, Dongguan Donghua Hospital invested in a modern vertical, circular parking structure located south of the hospital (off Xiehe Road in Zhushan District). Through intensive spatial transformation, the project installed 20 sets of 11-story, sedan-style vertical, circular parking structures within an 800-square-meter facility area, providing a total of 400 mechanical parking spaces. This improves land utilization by over five times compared to flat parking systems.

The project utilizes the world's leading fifth-generation vertical circulation parking garage with nine parking lanes, offering high security, robust stability, and intelligent operation. Average parking and retrieval times are kept to under 90 seconds, and fully automated operations significantly improve parking efficiency. The exterior facade utilizes an innovative lightweight steel structure with an ingot-shaped hollowing design, ensuring structural stability while achieving an average ventilation rate of 50%, effectively reducing drag and balancing practical functionality with aesthetic appeal.

In terms of traffic management, the garage features an 8-meter-wide, two-way main passageway to ensure smooth, two-way traffic flow. Strategically located entry and exit points ensure rapid connection to the city's main thoroughfares, enabling simultaneous handling of high-volume access demands during peak hours and completely avoiding the risk of traffic congestion. A strict pedestrian and vehicle diversion system is also implemented, with dedicated pedestrian lanes completely isolated from vehicular traffic, ensuring safe passage for drivers.

The completion and commissioning of the three-dimensional parking garage marks an important upgrade of Donghua Hospital's parking service system. By guiding employee vehicles to park in the three-dimensional garage, the original employee parking lot resources are released, and dedicated ground parking spaces for patients are added, effectively alleviating the huge parking pressure caused by the hospital's average daily outpatient flow of 5,000 people. At the same time, this project, as a model of intensive and intelligent transformation, provides a reusable standardized model for the construction of three-dimensional parking facilities in Dongguan's medical system.

As a people's livelihood project, the project builds an efficient and convenient medical parking environment through innovative practices such as vertical space, intelligent equipment, and intensive management, and continuously optimizes the people's health service experience.
